Sweet Chili Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 LB – 16/20 Shrimp
  • 2 – Bell Peppers
  • 1 – Red Onion
  • 2 TB – Olive Oil
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 Bottle – Wild Buds Sweet Chili Sauce
  • Bamboo Skewers

Cooking Instructions

  1. Thaw and clean the shrimp as needed. 
  2. Cut the bell peppers and red onion into a large dice.
  3. Build the skewers by alternating a piece of shrimp, a piece of bell pepper and a piece of red onion. Do this until ¾ of the skewer is filled and there is room to grip it from the bottom. 
  4. Build the remaining skewers. 
  5. Drizzle a baking sheet with olive oil. 
  6. Lay the skewers on the baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. 
  7. Preheat your broiler to medium heat. 
  8. Place the skewers on the top rack in the oven and cook for 2-3 minutes. 
  9. Carefully remove and flip the skewers. 
  10. Place them back under the broiler and cook an additional 2-3 minutes. 
  11. Remove from the oven and finish the skewers with a drizzle of Wild Buds Sweet Chili Sauce. 
  12. Serve with rice and enjoy!
