Meet the Wild Buds 🐾

Every Wild Buds sauce is more than just flavor… it’s a passport to adventure! We believe that food is one of the most exciting ways kids can explore the world, and each of our sauces is crafted to spark curiosity, expand young palates, and make mealtime a joyful discovery. Inspired by global cuisines and made just for kids, Wild Buds helps little eaters travel the globe by bringing the world’s flavors to your dinner table.

Each sauce in the Wild Buds collection is inspired by a different part of the world and paired with an animal “bud” from that region to bring its story and its flavors to life. These friendly guides make global tastes feel welcoming and accessible, helping kids approach new foods with excitement rather than hesitation. With every new bite, they are not just enjoying a meal. They are building cultural awareness, confidence, and a lifelong curiosity about the world around them.

Patches the Panda (Asia)

Pandas spend up to 12 hours a day munching on bamboo… that’s half the day spent eating their vegetables! With a special thumb-like bone to help them grip stalks like chopsticks, pandas know how to savor every bite. Patches inspires kids to slow down, taste carefully, and enjoy trying something new.

Koda the Grizzly (North America)

Grizzly bears have super senses: they can smell food from miles away and sprint up to 35 mph, as fast as a racehorse! Koda’s go-getter energy reminds kids to be brave about new flavors and embrace new tastes without hesitation.

Axel the Axolotl (Mexico)

Always smiling and endlessly fascinating, axolotls can regrow legs, tails, and even parts of their heart and brain — talk about superpowers! Axel teaches kids that trying new things builds resilience and that curiosity is its own kind of strength.

Gigi the Giraffe (Africa)

With 18-inch purple tongues, giraffes use their “built-in grabbers” to pluck leaves from towering trees. Gigi shows kids how reaching for new heights (or flavors!) leads to delicious discoveries. Gigi enjoys rollerskating through the savannah, keeping her long legs on a roll…

Ellie the Elephant (Thailand)

Some elephants in Thailand are even trained to paint pictures with their trunks — flowers, animals, and more! Ellie celebrates creativity at the table, reminding kids that food is a place to experiment, explore, and express themselves.

Ringo the Orangutan (Indonesia)

These clever primates explore by gracefully swinging through the forest canopy, foraging for fruit, nuts... and even insects! Orangutans can use sophisticated tools to find food and build nests — in fact, they make a new bed each night! Ringo’s curiosity about his environment shows kids that trying new things — even unexpected ones — is part of growing and exploring.

Remy the Red-Crowned Crane (Japan)

Known for their elegant dance-like leaps and bows, red-crowned cranes use movement to connect and find friends. Remy reminds us that sharing meals brings people closer together.

MIA THE PIKA (Japan)

High in the mountain meadows of Japan, Mia the Pika is always busy gathering wildflowers and grasses to dry into tiny haystacks — her own wildflower salad! She doesn’t hibernate, so she plans ahead and keeps her snacks ready all winter long. Mia reminds kids that a little preparation and creativity can make every meal an adventure, and that even the smallest bites can be full of color and joy.
